New York State Police received reports of a man having sexual contact with a victim under the age of 13 on Wednesday, which prompted an investigation, which led to the arrest of Beekman resident Patrick Mulcahy, Jr., who allegedly engaged in a course of sexual contact with his victim in Dutches.
Mulcahy was arrested by state police troopers and charged with a felony count of second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child. He was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond. Mulcahy is due back in the Town of Beekman Court on Feb. 6 to answer the charge.
